Lomir redn yidish – Let’s speak Yiddish! In this ten-week series for Yiddish beginners, you’ll get practice greeting people and introducing yourself. You’ll also learn to read and write in the alef-beys (alphabet) and how to use question words, numbers, colors, days of the week, everyday verbs and adjectives, and more! The only materials you’ll need are something to write with and on!
TUITION:
Tuition is offered at a sliding-scale rate in an effort to balance economic accessibility for our participants and fair compensation for our instructor.
- Subsidized Rate: $100 one-time payment / $10 per class
- Standard Rate: $200 one-time payment / $20 per class
- Supporter Rate: $300 one-time payment / $30 per class.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The rates below are requests/recommended amounts. You are welcome to pay an amount between or outside of these rates, depending on your means. We encourage those with the means to do so to contribute more, to subsidize the participation of others.
