Shanah tovah / Happy New Year! We hope you'll join us. Please RSVP by September 15.
**While our deadline was September 15, we CAN accommodate your late RSVP for services! It's better to RSVP than to show up unannounced.**
NOTE: Rosh Hashanah Lunch is FULL.
With so much pain, suffering and precarity in the world, we are so looking forward to the utter blessing of being together in beloved community to welcome in 5786. Our High Holiday services are open to all, regardless of membership status at T'chiyah.
Services will take place in-person at T'chiyah (housed within First United Methodist Church, 22331 Woodward Ave, Ferndale) unless otherwise noted. Our Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur services (but not workshops) will be livestreamed.
Masks are encouraged for all attendees. Masks will be available at the door. If you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness, please stay home and join us via livestream – even if you are currently testing negative for COVID.
Please register all attendees so that we can maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all. Our security and safety team will use this registration list at event check-in.
Note: If you are registering for other adults or children, we will collect their info at the end of this form.
All are invited to join in a complimentary pesca/vegetarian lunch following services, with gluten-free and vegan options available.
As of 9/15, Rosh Hashanah lunch is now full! We ask that you please do not stay for lunch, as our food supplies are limited.
Please consider a donation below to help us offset meal costs.
Here are a few notes regarding the accessibility of our space.
– Services will feature musical instruments, microphone / amplification, and an electronic projector to show page numbers.
– T'chiyah is in wheelchair-accessible building. Accessing our venue requires climbing one flight of stairs (up) or using an elevator.
– We ask all to please refrain from wearing fragrances or perfumes to support attendees with chemical sensitivities.
– Our livestream will feature auto-generated captioning
Celebrate in style with T'chiyah swag!
We are excited to offer two items of T'chiyah merch for purchase via this form T'chiyah tote bags (great for schlepping!) for $18 and Shabbat tealight plates (handmade ceramic by Susannah Goodman) for $30.

Please include the cost of these item(s) in your donation below. These items will be available for pick-up at our High Holiday services.
Our doors are open to all who wish to attend, regardless of their monetary contributions. If you feel moved by our approach, we invite you to make a contribution below and/or to
become a T'chiyah Tender to help sustain our work. (If you feel particularly aligned and want to dive in,
please consider becoming a member!)
Your contributions go a long way to keep our progressive, participatory and whole-heartedly inclusive community afloat!
*No one will be turned away for lack of funds.*
OPTIONAL: Additions to your RSVP
Childcare will be provided for all of our services. If you include children on your RSVP, we will follow up with more info re: childcare.
In addition, a short Children's Service (tailored for ages 3 - 8, though all are welcome) will take place during Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur Morning services.
